In the programming dedicated to families there’s no lack of story telling sessions with Saphir Cristal and Kiara Terra, dancing by Companhia Jovem de Dança do Porto, which presented the season’s classic “The Nutcracker”, but also juggling and balancing techniques with the “Natal a Rir” cycle.

The journey that promises to go beyond the walls of one of the most iconic show rooms in the city will take place until January 2nd. At the age of 80, the Coliseu Christmas Circus no longer wants to be the greatest show in the world, but in the universe. In an edition inspired by unknown galaxies and planets, it showcases an adventure without a net that challenges all the limits of circus technics.

The invitation came in 2019 from a French producer: to film a cinema of your choice in Portugal. The director, from Porto, chose the most iconic cinema in his city: the Batalha. The process is already in progress.

From the 27th to the 31st of October, Porto hosts the first Portuguese edition of WOMEX, an international meeting of the music industry.
