Porto establishes the role of Local Accommodation Mediator

Local Accommodation (AL) in Porto will rely on the services of a mediator to assist and guide the stakeholders in the sector, namely residents, facility managers, tourists and apartment complex managers. The applications for the Best Of Wine Tourism are open. Companies that develop enotourism activities in Porto and Douro and the "Vinhos Verdes" Wine Regions are now able to apply to such an award, even more relevant in a time when the tourism sector has been so hard hit by the pandemic. Applications should be submitted until 16 July 2021.

There is a new route as regards wine tourism

There is a new route as regards wine tourism. Four wine regions in the North formed a partnership to establish a new enoturism route of Porto and the North. The protocol was signed yesterday evening, at the Rivoli, between the Instituto dos Vinhos do Douro e do Porto, the comissões de viticultura regional dos Vinhos Verdes, Távora-Varosa e Trás-os-Montes, and the Turismo do Porto e Norte de Portugal (TPNP).
