Mayor Rui Moreira speaks about a sustainable Porto in Vienna

Mayor of Porto, Rui Moreira, was the main speaker at the most significant European event devoted to Urban Sustainability, in the framework of the Urban Future Global Conference, which is organised in Vienna and is running till 2 March. Moreira was the main lecturer of the session "How to lead change in your city", in the opening day of the event, where cities share and explain which policies they are making towards a sustainable future.

German company Devexperts sets up new operations centre in Porto

Porto was the chosen city to set up the new research and development centre of German company Devexperts. This company specializes in the development of highly complex software solutions and services for the Capital Markets industry. Devexperts is headquartered in Munich, Germany and it is estimated to create 80 jobs in Porto within the next two years.

Camellias Exhibition to suit all tastes and age groups in Porto, in March

Camellias are blooming again in Porto and the Mosteiro de São Bento da Vitória hosts the 23rd edition of the exhibit that celebrates this winter flower. Porto wins the World Excellence Award for Best Startup-Friendly City of Europe

Porto is the Best Start-up Friendly City of Europe 2018. The award was granted on 19 February, during the World Excellence Awards in Istanbul, known as an investment hub in the Middle East. The World Business Angels Investment Forum announced Porto as the recipient of the award for the Best Startup-Friendly City of Europe and Mayor Rui Moreira received the prize.
