Porto City Hall determined, yesterday evening, 19th January, the reimposing of lockdown measures to help prevent the outbreak of the Covid-19. The sharp increase in Covid-19 infections led to the prohibition to public agglomerations in public space.

Professor of the UP and researcher at INESC-TEC was named Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers Fellow

João Gama, a full professor at the Faculty of Economics of the University of Porto and researcher at INESC TEC, was recently named fellow of IEEE – Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers, a professional association for electronic engineering and electrical engineering, with its corporate office in New York City. João Gama was named for “his contributions regarding knowledge extraction techniques from continuous data flows”.
