Trengolas will make you measure time in fun and joy till 26th September

The closing performances of Trengolas are now on 25th and 26th September, as the sessions of the 18th and 19th were postponed. "Por um Fio" ["By a string", free translation], jointly created and performed by Daniel Seabra and Margarida Montenÿ, will put both acrobats in a continuous search for equilibrium between two bodies, using a lose string of two ends at 7 metres high.

7 films by Akira Kurosawa on display at Campo Alegre Municipal Theatre

The masterpieces of Akira Kurosawa, one of the most acknowledged Japanese filmmakers in the West, are on display at Campo Alegre Municipal Theatre, from 17th September till 30th October. Seven films, in digital restored copies, five of which were never presented in a movie theatre in Portugal, will be screened at Porto Municipal Theatre - Campo Alegre.

Noites no Pátio at the Museum are back till September ends

The "Noites no Pátio" [something like "Evenings in the yard"], at the Museum of the UP are on for a second edition, this month of September. Casa Comum of the University of Porto, which organises this initiative, has prepared an entire month of September (as in July), with an agenda to meet all tastes and to content all age groups, starting this 9th September.

The Municipality of Porto just launched the project "Study in Porto". The main goal is to centralize in one online platform bountiful information where new students in town can learn things about the city and better adjust and adapt to a new reality both as a student and someone from Porto.

Trengolas and barrels of fun at Porto Book Fair

Sunday, 6th September, is also the day to enjoy circus arts at Porto Book Fair, under the Trengolas initiative, and that will be a barrel of fun. Starting at 5pm, the "Trengos à Solta" of the Companhia Erva Daninha, make sure that everyone can have a laugh near the "Ilha", the structure inside the lake, next to Super Bock - Pavilhão Rosa Mota, which is prepared to host literature events, as well.
