Porta-Jazz concert on 9 August, 7pm: be there!

The Porta-Jazz new initiative themed "Quintal Porta-Jazz", where the stage is brought outside, features one last concert, on 9th August, at 7pm.

Sports, traditional games, street entertainment, you name it, Porto has it all for the weekends! Come check out!

No one can deny that Porto is a city that translates "joyful atmosphere" the weekend over. As usual, and like these past Saturdays and Sundays in town, on 2nd August, let's go all out to enjoy sports, traditional games and street entertainment, especially arranged by the Municipality or Porto and partners for the delight of passers-by and strollers at the Invicta.

In the White City, by Alain Tanner, at Campo Alegre

The film "In the White City", by Swiss director Alain Tanner, premieres on 31st July, at the cinema studio of Theatre Campo Alegre. Sessions are available at 6.30pm.

This is the first long film by Jeanne Balibar, famous French actress and singer. The chosen genre is comedy and the movie"Wonders in the Suburbs" is underpinned with a curious plot as Balibar features politicians as a very enlightened group, rather than vicious and cynical. Sessions at the cine studio of Campo Alegre at 6.30pm.
