STCP (BUS) adjusts service offer on weekends

STCP bus fleet in Porto will adjust its service offer on weekends, as has happened on business days, to accommodate the measures taken under the renovation of the State of Emergency. The “Contingency Timetable” enters into force on 27th February, and will remain in place as long as the restriction measures of this second confinement are in force, namely the ban on movement in public areas and roads, and between districts, after 5 pm.

Porto Design Biennale 2021 announces Open Call winners

Porto Design Biennale (PDB) revealed the eight projects that were shortlisted in the framework of the Open Call for the parallel programming. University of Porto launches Creativity Talks series

The tech boom continues to reshape the city: another company is to hire in Porto

The SaltPay Group acquired 90% of the payment solution national company's capital Pagaqui, and it will invest 40 million euros in a new technological centre in Porto. There is a team of 40 people working remotely, owing to the pandemic, but another 140 people are to be hired till the end of 2021. It will depend on the end of the lockdown. Still, the target is to hire up until 550 collaborators in two years’ time.
