Rivoli plays host to the 4th edition of Queer Porto Festival, from 10 to 14 October. The main guest is the American writer Dennis Cooper, who is in Porto to present the film "Permanent Green Light" that he has co-directed with Zac Farley.

International Conference on Consumers and environmental justice in Porto

"Consumers and environmental justice" is the umbrella topic for the conference that will be held at the Congress Centre in Porto Customs, on 12 October. Portuguese translator awarded in France

Portuguese translator Elisabeth Monteiro Rodrigues was awarded the Great Translation Prize of the City of Arles for the French edition of the book "Da Família", by Portuguese writer Valério Romão. The prize giving ceremony is scheduled for 9 November at the du Méja Association, in the context of the 35th Literary Translation Meeting in Arles.

Eduarda Neves presents a curatorial programme on visual arts in Porto Planetarium at 6 pm

"Sem Imago Mundi, Antes Um Desvio Aleatório" is the theme of the new project curated by Eduarda Neves, which will be presented on 12 October at the Ciência Viva Centre, in Porto, at 6 pm.
