Rivoli Theatre was filled with visitors to get to know the programme of theatre, music, literature, cinema, dance, artistic residencies and visual arts for the next fourth months.

The concert cycle "Porto Best Of" is set to come back to the Great Auditorium Rivoli Theatre on 19 October, at 9.30 pm with a programme devoted to pop music. Clã and Best Youth are the big bands to take the stage.

The programme of the XII Cultural Cycle of Porto Cemeteries continues Saturday, 9 September, with another nocturnal photographic incursion. The tour begins at 9.30 pm, rendez-vous at the south entrance of the cemetery (Padre Baltazar Guedes Plaza).

This is the first time that Porto Municipality is taking part in the Smart Cities Innovation Summit Asia 2017. The event takes place between today and Friday, 8 September, at KINTEX, the impressive International Congress Centre of South Korea, in the city of Goyang.

The September to December Season of Porto Municipal Theatre was presented today at Rivoli and is the culmination of a process initiated in September 2014 that aimed at "operating a city project that pays attention to its artists and its audiences with a strong international component", stated Mayor Rui Moreira, this morning at the renewed Café Rivoli.

The Aliados will play host, once again, to the "Concertos na Avenida" initiative. This is a free event and will offer the public at large live music shows. The "Concertos na Avenida" are organised by Porto City Hall, jointly with Casa da Música and will happen Friday and Saturday (8 and 9 September), starting at 10 pm.

Art collectives and artists from Portugal, Europe and the United States take part in the third edition of "O Museu como Performance" (The Museum as Performance) initiative presented by the Serralves Museum of Contemporary Art in Porto, to be held this weekend, 9 and 10 September.

From Thursday to Sunday, 7, 8, 9 and 10 September, the quest to rediscover the existing bandstands in the city of Porto continues, through topic workshops inspired in the places' history and identity.

The cultural programme "Serões da Bonjóia" (Evenings at the Bonjóia) is back after the silly season. Thursday, 7 September the "Porto à Maneira..." session will bring back poetry and music by Maria de Lourdes dos Anjos and Troupe de Palavras Vivas.

Young pianist João Teixeira will be on stage at IAC Auditorium, in Rivoli at 5 pm, on 16 September. João Teixeira has already been awarded in several competitions in Portugal and Spain. He started playing the piano at the age of 11.
