The 5th edition of The Forum of The Future, which runs from 4 to 10 November, features the Artists Talks sessions, where artists of different nationalities present and debate their artwork. Emphasis will be placed in line with the theme of the Forum of the Future, debating the link between antiquity, ancient past, and contemporary culture, condensed in two words - Ágora Club.

Any street market is an optimal choice to dive in the culture of a city. The Pink Market is no exception and it features fantastic stalls dedicated to art, to timeless gifts and it is imbued with a cosy and friendly atmosphere, next to the Praia Internacional do Porto, outside the Edifício Transparente, on 3 and 4 November. The market is access free, and runs form 11 am to 6 pm.

Unknown Mortal Orchestra, the band from New Zealand, leaded by Ruban Nielson, stars in the Hard Club, on 29 October, at 9 pm.

The Miró Collection will stay in the city of Porto for 25 years, as stated by Rui Moreira, Mayor of Porto. "This decision safeguards the public and national interests", said Rui Moreira during the Press conference held at Porto City Hall on 24 October, regarding the agreement signed by the Portuguese Government, the Municipality and the Serralves Foundation.

The "Programa Aconchego", designed by Porto City Hall jointly with Porto Academic Federation (FAP) to help senior citizens age in place was awarded the Innovation@Home international honour. The leader of the Russian activist group Pussy Riot, Nadya Tolokonnikova, is on the line up for the Forum of The Future in Porto this November, to discuss the idea that Greece is not only home to the schools of philosophy founded by Plato and Aristoteles but also home to a Practical Philosophy that created the "artistic activism".

Speakers and experts of museums, the Academia and sports institutions, foreign and domestic will meet in Porto on 26 October to debate the importance of sport heritage.

"The Hip to da Hop" is a documentary-style film showing the Hip-Hop Culture in Portugal, directed by António Freitas and Fábio Silva. The film features a journey through Portugal, showcasing the work of more than 40 artists and musicians, writers, b-boys such as Odeith, Orelha Negra, Mundo Segundo, Chullage and NBC. It premieres on 25 October countrywide.
