North Music festival confirms One Republic for 1 October

Following the postponing of the event, the good news keep rolling as regards the North Music Festival, which will be held from 30 September to 2 October 2021, at Porto Customs, confirms the band One Republic for the line-up, on 1 October.

Roadshow Xacobeo celebrates the Holy Year Compostela in Porto

This year, the historic celebration of the voyage of the Apostle Santiago’s body from Israel to Galicia, Spain will be extended for two years, and Porto will be one of the last landing points during the Iacobus Maris regatta, which features 3400 nautical miles and sailboats. The regatta is due to arrive to the Invicta on 17 July 2022, but in the meantime, the Roadshow Xacobeo 21-22 can be visited at the Praça de Parada Leitão, in Porto, from 25 June, until 27 June, between 10 am and 6 pm.

Estádio de Praia hosts Porto Beach Rugby this Saturday

The municipal company Ágora set up the Beach Stadium, nearby the Edifício Transparente, one year after the last competition. The site will be the stage of a vast set of sports events, namely handball, football, foot volley and beach tennis, until the end of August. Municipal Assembly members visited the Ramal da Alfândega

The Ramal da Alfândega, the Customs Railway Branch in Porto that has been deactivated for circa thirty years now.
