Loie Fuller, the inventor of "Serpentine dance" is remembered at Café Rivoli

Loie Fuller, the inventor of "Serpentine dance" is the theme of "Literary Café", hosted by Rivoli Café, 12 October, starting at 6.30 pm. Entrance free. The autobiography "Fifteen Years of a Dancers' life: With Some Account of Her Distinguished Friends" by Loie Fuller depicts the amazing life story of this American dancer who later moved to Paris where she achieved international appreciation.

Fado Experience at Quinta da Bonjóia

The cultural event "Serões da Bonjóia" will feature a fado session under the Arts Cycle. The Fado Porto Club will perform at Quinta da Bonjóia, 12 October starting at 9.15 pm. The entrance is free.

First project financed by municipal programme "Criatório" commences in Serralves

The critical thinking assembly, Metabolic Rifts is the first funded project by the municipal programme "Criatório" and it will begin 14 October, in Serralves. Wild animals are safely released to their natural environment in Porto City Park. A hedgehog and a hawk were returned to nature, as part of various release and reintroduction programmes, under the celebration of World Animal Day, on 4 October.
