If you come across the label "safe!n porto" in shop Windows of different stores all around town, know that those settings were awarded the good practices label regarding Porto's nightlife aka Movida. This project is targeted at promoting a safer nightlife, by implementing a variety of strategies dealing with noise, urban cleanliness and sociability.

More buses to celebrate Halloween in Porto

Numerous bus routes will be supplemented on the night of 31 October and the eve of 1 November to connect to the city centre. The STCP - Porto Public Transport Society, will provide added transport services due to the Halloween celebration.

Registrations are now open for the last 2018 Pláka Collectives programme - To School out of School offers a short workshop on contemporary studies with focus on collectives, solo performances, informal and institutional organisations that develop their projects in the field of curatorship and thought on culture and present time. Registrations are limited to 20 participants and cost 50 euros per participant. The registration period closes on 15 November.

Pink Market is back to Edifício Transparente

The Pink Market is no exception and it features fantastic stalls dedicated to art, to timeless gifts and it is imbued with a cosy and friendly atmosphere, next to the Praia Internacional do Porto, outside the Edifício Transparente, on 3 and 4 November.
