From Thursday to Sunday, 7, 8, 9 and 10 September, the quest to rediscover the existing bandstands in the city of Porto continues, through topic workshops inspired in the places' history and identity.

The cultural programme "Serões da Bonjóia" (Evenings at the Bonjóia) is back after the silly season. Thursday, 7 September the "Porto à Maneira..." session will bring back poetry and music by Maria de Lourdes dos Anjos and Troupe de Palavras Vivas.

Young pianist João Teixeira will be on stage at IAC Auditorium, in Rivoli at 5 pm, on 16 September. João Teixeira has already been awarded in several competitions in Portugal and Spain. He started playing the piano at the age of 11.

Have you ever seen the inside of a prison? "The Portuguese prison photo" is the name of a project that conveys both historic and contemporary prisons in Portugal and is on show at the Portuguese Photography Centre (CPF), located in the Old Prison and Porto Appeal Court building. The opening is scheduled for 8 September.

Eight years after the last race held in the city of Porto, the Red Bull Air Race returns to the Invicta, where more than 850 thousand spectators (number of people in two days) wanted to see first-hand the air aces and the pilots were not found wanting. The numbers are stunning: Sunday alone, more than 600 thousand people watched the Porto race on the riverside of the Red Bull Air Race World Championship.

The 14 Master Category Planes from Red Bull Air Race have landed today at the Race Airport in Queimódromo. The space has been transformed in the Air Race Village, fully geared to host planes and pilots as well as public, with a merchandising area, bar and restaurants, a huge flight simulator and a giant screen, which be placed in the public area so that spectators and fans can better enjoy the show.
