FEUP Alumnus awarded with the Microsoft Outstanding Achievers

Alumnus of the Faculty of Engineering of the University of Porto has received the Platinum Club - Outstanding Achievers Microsoft Award. Nelson Figueiredo de Pinho, doctorate in Industrial Engineering and Management by the Faculty of Engineering of the University of Porto (FEUP), was awarded the most prestigious and exclusive Microsoft Award, on 19 July.  

This award is granted on an annual basis to employees that have provided outstanding performance for the company's success and that are influential leaders that exceed expectations.

The purpose is to highlight the importance given to Microsoft's human capital and pursue the company's commitment to acknowledge the best.

"This recognition is was the result of a team effort and I am honoured to work with the best team ever", emphasises Nelson Figueiredo de Pinho, who works at Microsoft Portugal since 2017.

The award was handed over in a special ceremony in Las Vegas, United States of America.
