TECH in PORTO gathers engineers and scientists of several countries in Porto

TECH in PORTO's third edition happens on 13 and 14 June in Porto, at Casa das Artes, and gathers enthusiasts, entrepreneurs, innovators in the field of technology. This event first started with Jumia's will "to share and promote Porto's state of the art Information Technologies".

Jumia is the biggest online services ecosystem in Africa and it chose Porto to establish its tech center of excellence as of 2012.

The company's teaming up with great technology partners makes it possible "to bring the best from the tech community to our blooming city, learn together and deliver a kickass experience".

"The vast majority of the speakers are young engineers and scientists, Portuguese or foreigners, who will share their expertise and knowledge in a very practical way, hands-on, like we call it", the organisation stated.

Also, "TECHinPORTO stands out due to its key content, and participants gain real knowledge and experience, as this conference is not a mere commercial pitch".

This is a non-profit initiative and all the ticketing revenue reverts to a Social Care Association.
