Turkish Airlines continue to invest in Porto

Turkish Airlines, the sole air carrier to operate direct flights between Porto-Istanbul, announced it will increase flight frequencies from five to seven weekly flights between those two cities, as of the IATA winter Schedule 2019.

Thus, between 27 October 2019 and 28 March 2020, the airliner will operate flights on Mondays and Wednesdays, from the Francisco Sá Carneiro Airport. These flights are already available for reservation at GDS.

According to a communiqué sent to the press by Turkish Airlines, flights operate on Wednesdays, Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays departure Istanbul at 9.20am and arrive Porto at 11.20am; the round trip starts at 12.15pm, and arrival at Istanbul at 7.50pm. The flights that are operated every Monday, Tuesday and Thursday departure from Turkey at 12.35pm and arrive to Porto at 14.45pm. The round trip is scheduled for3.40pm and arrival in Istanbul is at 11.15pm.

Turkish Airlines started operating at Francisco Sá Carneiro Airport in 2015 and has set up offices in the Foz area, in Porto, in May 2018.
