Trengo Circus Festival is back in Porto from 3 to 7 July

The fourth edition of Trengo - Porto Circus Festival is back in town between 3 and 7 July, featuring 14 shows and a total of 20 performances in four venues in the city of Porto, presenting over 30 artists from eight countries.

Strengthening of urban cultures in public space with municipal programme "Cultura em Expansão"

This weekend, Porto hosts an array of cultural events in the scope of the municipal programme "Cultura em Expansão", featuring performances, music and cinema in the parishes of Campanhã, Miragaia and in the neighbourhood of Pasteleira. All events are entrance free.

Interactive opera for everyone at Campo Alegre

"Don Quixote" ballet takes to the stage at Rivoli this July

Eric Volodine's modern production of Don Quixote ballet derives from the version staged by Alexander Gorsky presentation for the Bolshoi Theatre of Moscow in 1900. It takes to the stage at the Municipal Theatre Rivoli, on 11 and 12 July at 9pm, and on 13 July, at 7pm.

Trengo Circus Festival premieres "Le Vide - Essai de Cirque" at Campo Alegre

The performance "Le Vide - Essai de Cirque" was created based on an original idea by Fragan Gehlker, a string circus acrobat. It will take to the stage at Municipal Theatre Campo Alegre from 3 to 6 July.
