Until January 8, discover the historic centre of Porto walking through a path of light and disclose the six installations created by Alumia project to mark 20 years of Porto Historic Centre acknowledge as World Heritage Site by UNESCO.

Porto Historic Centre was acknowledged World Heritage Site by UNESCO 20 years ago. The date is celebrated with a TV Special Broadcasting from the city of Porto in the Porto Innovation Hub facilities, the new innovation space that will be opened Tuesday, December 6 by Porto City Hall.

On the day Porto celebrated its classification by UNESCO, the municipality launched the book "Porto World Heritage 20 years | 20 Pictures" in the Library of the Seminário Maior and shared it with a room full of people.

The NOS Conference held at the Rectory of the University of Porto, in partnership with Dinheiro Vivo and TSF radio station, focused on the key topic of innovation in Tourism, by providing a practical framework for understanding the roles and perspectives of national and regional organisations in tourism innovation, ranging from the state, the municipality, to the companies, to the consumer.

The University of Porto is among the 200 institutions of higher education worldwide - and 75 in Europe - that best promote their students' employability, according to the 2017 edition of the QS Graduate Employability Rankings, recently released by the British consultancy Quacquarelli Symonds (QS).

Monday, December 5, marks 20 years since Porto Historic Centre was classified as World Heritage. To mark the date, Porto City Hall prepared a number of activities, namely the inauguration of six lighting installations within the framework of ALUMIA project.

The oficial opening of the first Leica Store in Portugal was inaugurated in Porto on Thursday, December 1, at 7 pm. The full on gallery plus Leica Store is located at Rua Sá da Bandeira nº 48/52.

The exhibition "Eyes wide open" 100 years of Leica photography, opened Wednesday, November 30, at 7 pm, in the Municipal Gallery. Organized by Porto City Hall and curated by Hans-Michael Koetzle, the exhibition will be open to the public until February 5. This event is free.
