The Editors at Time Out Porto shortlisted Bonfim, Porto as the 14th coolest district according to the magazine, out of 40 other districts the world over. The Editors state that "experienced travellers want to see the city as locals do", like in Bonfim.

Porto Saudável is here until December ends to boost your fitness success

The "Porto Saudável" initiative will run till the end of December. So, every Sunday morning till Xmas, there's a walk to help you stay fit whilst discovering the city's iconic places. Set the agenda as the next walk is scheduled for 18th October.

Employment and turnover has taken on greater prominence in startups in Porto and even surpassed the Porto Metropolitan Area

A study by ScaleUp Porto concludes that between 2016 and 2018 the Invicta has seen a steady growth in employment and turnover in the startups in town, at twice the speed of that observed between 2013 and 2015. The companies' average business growth in Porto's entrepreneurial ecosystem has even reached 26.2%, whereas similar companies in Porto Metropolitan Area (AMP) stood at 7.7%.

Viaduct of Andresas wins Global Future Design Awards 2020 for Urban Design

The viaduct of Andresas won the Global Future Design Awards 2020, in the Urban Design category, sixteen years after its inauguration under the Euro 2004. This flyover was built in the framework of the European football competition and to improve accessibility to the football stadium of Bessa, by architect Manuel Ventura.

Porto Femme International Film Festival 2020 takes to the big screen this month

The Porto Femme International Film Festival 2020 is back to the Invicta with circa 127 films, from 39 countries. The Casa Comum of the Rectory of the University of Porto features eight sessions, from 7 to 10 October.
