Field Hospital "Porto.", set up at Super Bock Arena/Pavilhão Rosa Mota, will be dismantled over the coming days. This decision was jointly made by both public hospitals in Porto, the Northern Regional Medical Section and Porto City Hall, following the fact that Porto does not report any new Covid-19 cases for eleven days straight, which makes it now the fifth municipality in Portugal with the highest toll of cases.

Daily reports by the Directorate-General for Health (DGS), on the evolution of the COVID-19 in Portugal, inform that the city of Porto does not pick up new Covid-19 cases since 5th June and that the Municipality of Porto is now fifth in the number of total reported cases of the new coronavirus in the country.

Rui Moreira, Mayor of Porto, accompanied the city's police forces to the neighbourhoods of Pinheiro Torres and Pasteleira Nova in Porto. This police operation was led by PSP and assisted by the Municipal Police.

The new road safety campaign "E se a estrada falasse?" ["What if the road would speak?" free translation], by the National Road-Safety Authority (ANSR), is targeted at "making people aware to complying with road safety measures after lockdown to safeguard life". The old Foz do Douro market completed 75 years last year. It is run by the Union of Parishes of Aldoar, Foz do Douro and Nevogilde, and it reopened doors complying with all preventive measures under the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic.
