Porto Circus International Festival will be the next big circus shows arena

Coliseu Porto Ageas will for the first time receive community funds to produce circus shows. This event themed Porto Circus International Festival will be jointly produced with Porto City Hall. The festival's goal is to revisit the treasured recollections of the great moments of the past and offer the city 40 shows, both street shows and concert hall performances in September.

German Chancellor Angela Merkel will visit Portugal on 30 and 31 May. This visit follows an invitation from Portuguese Prime Minister António Costa. The programme of the official visit includes a visit to i3S - Investigation and Health Research Institute in Porto. The German Chancellor will also meet PhD students in the context of the "Meeting with Citizens" initiative.
