Mayra Andrade is to perform at Coliseu Porto Ageas on 18th April 2020. The "Manga" world tour will be presented in Porto after Mayra performed in London, Paris and Berlin, as well as a full agenda of several festivals in Portugal and in the rest of Europe, namely the prestigious North Sea Jazz Festival, in Rotterdam, Holland.

"Douro: an alchemy between air, land and river": the important display is now immortalized in print. The book is titled "Douro [DWR]" and includes the exhibition featured at Pasteleira reservoir, which had previously been on show at "la Cité du Vin", in Bordeaux, France. The official presentation of the publication was held at the Porto Wine Museum, on 10th October, at 9.30pm, which was attended by Mayor Rui Moreira.

Álvaro Siza, 86 years old, one of the most decorated architects in the world and still changing the way we see buildings, was honoured with the Charles Abella Prix, by the Académie des Beaux-Arts, an architecture Prize granted to acknowledge an outstanding work in this field.

The House-Museum Guerra Junqueiro opens a free access exhibition on 11th October. The display "Bauhaus. 100 Anos, 100 Objetos" [Bauhaus. 100 Years, 100 Objects, free translation] will celebrate 100 years of the legendary Arts School's events and icons.

The 2019 edition of FIMP- Porto International Puppet Festival- is special; first, it's FIMP's 30th anniversary (not easy in the art world); secondly, it brings along tabletop philosophers, bunraku genre, minibus on stage and loads of humour! Join us on this special edition, from 11th to 20th October, in several venues across Porto.

Porto is running for Best Filming Location! There is still time to vote as the online voting runs until 9 October. The main aim is to promote the city of Porto to producers and distributors as the ideal setting for movie productions and video recordings.

The Municipality of Porto invites everyone to attend the "King Kong" performance by the company Teatro do Frio (TdF), at Pasteleira neighbourhood, on 12th and 13th October, at 5pm. Entrance is free but subject to audience capacity.
