KINO - the German Film Festival will take to Casa das Artes, from 21 and 25 May, and features a comprehensive programme that includes the latest films in German language.

The Palácio da Bolsa, in Porto, is an amazing national monument designed in 1842 by Joaquim da Costa Lima, in neoclassical style. It is located in the Historic Centre of Porto and it is one of the most visited monuments of the Invicta.

"The Little Prince" is a collection to have and to hold in Porto

Carla Queirós, former Teacher and currently Assistant to the Councillor of Social Cohesion, Education and Housing of Porto City Hall, is the proud collector of circa 100 copies of "The Little Prince" (Le Petit Prince) novella by French aristocrat, writer, poet, and pioneering aviator Antoine de Saint-Exupéry, which was first published in April 1943.

"Europa 61" celebrates European Unity in Porto

From 16 to 22 May, the Cinema Trindade, in Porto, plays host to a cinema cycle with the aim of reflecting on the idea of Europe, in the context of two relevant dates to the European Union; 9 May, which celebrates Europe Day and 26 May, the day of the European Parliament elections, and in the turmoil one of the biggest crisis the union has ever faced, the Brexit. All sessions are entrance free.

The Hard Club, in Porto, will host the performance "Every Brilliant Thing", based on the book by Duncan Macmillan, from 20 May until 27 May.

Tao Dance Theater: "what your eyes perceive is exactly what our hearts hope to express"

Tao Dance Theater features two performances at the Rivoli on 11 May, at 10pm, in the context of the DDD - Days of the Dance Festival. The Numerical Series build possible arrangements that open up to imagination, and intend to transcend the duality of abstract versus concrete thinking.

Porto is the best place to see Picasso's Art

The Palácio das Artes, in Porto, will display the "Vollard Suite" collection by Picasso, on 30 May. The Suite was acquired by the Spanish Foundation MAPFRE in 2008, and was never before exhibited in Portugal. The exhibit will be on show until 11 September.

French Cinema cycle at Campo Alegre

This is the day that "Plaire, aimer et courir vite" (2018), by Christophe Honoré (Sorry Angel) in English, premieres in Porto, at Campo Alegre, at 7.20pm. French writer and film Director Christophe Honoré was considered by the critic "the new heir of the Nouvelle Vague cinema".

The First Photography Biennial of Porto takes place from 16 May to 2 July 2018 with 16 exhibitions, 11 curators, and 53 artists targeted at professionals, enthusiasts, students and general public.
