The DDD Festival week kicks-off today. Porto. will let you in a summary of what you can expect and long for the coming days.

Banksy's work is in Porto in photographic form to lead audiences in the exploring of the Banksy phenomenon until 28 July.

Expect no less than joyful moments all around the arts district, namely three workshops, street animation, two exhibits, a concert, DJ sets, a photographic walk and the usual guided tours.

The Mayor of Porto, Rui Moreira hosts Prince Aga Khan at Porto City Hall, at 4pm, on 2 May.

The Faculty of Fine Arts of the University of Porto (FBAUP) presents the public with the only Leonardo Da Vinci's drawing that exists in Portugal. This rare opportunity will take place at the FBAUP Exhibition Pavilion, on 2 May, between 11am and 8pm. Entrance is free.

Coliseu Porto Ageas celebrates World Day of dance - 29 April - with a special offer: 50% of the ticket price for the closing show of the DDD, which will take place on 4 May, at 10pm. To benefit from the discount, tickets have to be purchased till 11.59pm, today, 29 April, at Coliseu Porto Ageas, at the Rivoli, the Ticketline or at the usual venues.

The name of the project is "Orquestra Nacional Moderna" ["National Modern Orchestra", free translation] and the goal is to offer orchestra concerts on a regular basis, under the programme "Música para uma noite de sonho" ["Music for a Night's Dream", free translation] in the interior of the country, as announced by Lusa Agency.

Pianist from Porto, Vasco Dantas debuts at Carnegie Hall, in New York on 17 November, at 2pm, at the Weill Recital Hall. In the meantime, the Portuguese pianist participates in the Piano on the Rocks Festival, in Sedona, Arkansas, and in Philadelphia, USA, from 26 to 28 April, as a preview of what he will offer in the Big Apple.

The next 25 April, by 7pm, the stage of the Sala Suggia, at Casa da Música, will hold a solidarity concert. When purchasing a ticket, a part of the value will revert to the "Associação de Apoio à Infância Casa do Caminho", an Association that helps Infants and the Institute for Pathology and Molecular Immunology of Porto University - IPATIMUP.

The PDB - Porto Design Biennale launched the first edition of the Open Call on satellite programmes. The event will be held from September to December 2019. This is the first time that the country organises a Biennale with the purpose of promoting the internationalisation of design creative thinking.
