The Casa da Música Choir engages audiences on new ways to appreciate music with pieces by sixteenth century Iberian composers Manuel de Correia, Pedro de Cristo, Duarte Lobo and Tomás Luis de Victoria, a concert that combines opera and classical music with works by Irish composer David Fennessy, to create an exclusively original, memorable experience. On 17th November, at sala Suggia, at 6pm.

The University of Porto celebrates the "Magusto Internacional" with roasted chestnuts and Portuguese traditional music, on 13th November, at 4.30pm, in the Rectory.

The cosmos was announced as the theme for 2020 edition of the Forum of the Future in Porto, by Mayor Rui Moreira on occasion of the Forum of the Future closing session, at Rivoli, on 9th November. See you in the future!

Álvaro Siza, 86 years old, one of the most decorated architects in the world, has just been honoured with the National Architecture Award of Spain 2019, in Spanish the "Premio Nacional de Arquitectura de España", for outstanding work in his field. The award is granted by the Government of Spain, on an annual basis.
