Porto celebrates International Youth Day

Porto City Hall celebrates International Youth Day (IYD) with several activities targeted at young people. The celebration kicked off on 10 August and runs for the entire week till 18 August. This year the motto of IYD is "Transforming Education" and it enhances the struggle to make education more important, fair and inclusive for all youth, including efforts by youth themselves.

The International Folklore Festival City of Porto is back in town from 31 July to 4 August, with the objective to present and affirm traditional culture and folklore of numerous local and international participants from four continents, including South America, Asia, Oceania, and Europe.

Piano Marathon at São Bento Station

If you happen to pass by or visit São Bento Station today, 29 July, you will be gifted a piano marathon till 4pm. It is the somewhat informal presentation of Porto Pianofest 4th edition, running from 1 to 9 August, in different venues that include Casa da Música, The Rectory of the University of Porto and the Palácio da Bolsa.

Porto's magical weekend with UNITE with Tomorrowland

Porto has written a magical weekend after an exuberant first edition of UNITE with Tomorrowland Belgium with a full house at Porto Oriental Park. Around 15 thousand "people of Tomorrow" gathered at the Oriental Park and joined another chapter of a magical festival, a special meeting of one day without borders, which connected Porto to Belgium in a live streaming of the main stage of the Tomorrowland Festival Belgium.
