Tapestry by artist from Porto on display at Heathrow Airport

The artist Vanessa Barragão, who founded a studio in Porto in 2014, created a botanical world-map, representing the different ecosystems. The tapestry will be on display during the summer at Terminal 2 of the London Airport.

"Pulp Fiction" by Quentin Tarantino is back to movie theatres 25 years after the premiere

"Pulp Fiction", iconic film directed by Quentin Tarantino, and which saw the return to the Seventh Art of actor John Travolta, is back to Portuguese movie theatres and the screening is scheduled for 1 October, at the Municipal Theater Rivoli, with sessions at 6.30pm and 9.30pm.

University of Porto shares best practices on research and innovation in the Universities of Mongolia

The University of Porto is a partner institution of "ARROW - Improvement of Research and Innovation Skills in Mongolian Universities". This international project is co-financed by Erasmus+, whose main goal is to support the capacity building of Mongolian Universities in the areas of research and innovation, specifically scientific production and patents. UP is also part of the Quality Committee and will do the follow-up of other project related activities.

Students from 17 countries learn Urban Planning with BEST Porto

A group of college students from 17 European countries gathers in Porto for a Summer Course on Urban Planning, starting on 23 July.This is the 22nd edition of "How I Met Your City", a summer course organised by BEST Porto (Board of European Students of Technology). It is worth mentioning that Porto is the third most sought after city in the most wanted city list in Europe.
