This is a big weekend in Porto with not-to-miss events! Check them out, as UNITE with Tomorrowland, The Electric Festival at Pasteleira Park, and Superheroes Night Race in the City Park are in town. Take your pick or enjoy all the big events Porto has to offer this weekend!

The artist Vanessa Barragão, who founded a studio in Porto in 2014, created a botanical world-map, representing the different ecosystems. The tapestry will be on display during the summer at Terminal 2 of the London Airport.

"Pulp Fiction", iconic film directed by Quentin Tarantino, and which saw the return to the Seventh Art of actor John Travolta, is back to Portuguese movie theatres and the screening is scheduled for 1 October, at the Municipal Theater Rivoli, with sessions at 6.30pm and 9.30pm.

The rebranding of Porto Municipal Theatre and the identity of the Bolhão Temporary Market, which were developed by the Studio Eduardo Aires, have been distinguished at the International Design Competition Graphis Awards 2019.

The "Concertos na Avenida" are back to Porto in Aliados on 6 and 7 September, scheduled for 10 pm. Music lovers are presented with the usual Classical Music concerts that summer season brings to the city of Porto. Everyone is invite and entrance is free.

Stay tuned as Porto will host a tech community event on 5 and 6 September: Connect Fest gathers both professionals and enthusiasts and seeks to become the largest event of this type in Portugal.

While in town, take time to explore the newly renovated Water Pavilion in Porto City Park. Taking on a more interactive role with the community, this is the privileged space in Porto to learn more about the relationship with the water.

There are still some days left to see first-hand the "Banksy's Dismaland and Others" exhibit at Porto Customs Building, which has received a huge number of visitors. Banksy artwork, executed in a distinctive stencilling technique can be appreciated till next Sunday, 28 July at Porto Customs Building.

The University of Porto is a partner institution of "ARROW - Improvement of Research and Innovation Skills in Mongolian Universities". This international project is co-financed by Erasmus+, whose main goal is to support the capacity building of Mongolian Universities in the areas of research and innovation, specifically scientific production and patents. UP is also part of the Quality Committee and will do the follow-up of other project related activities.

A group of college students from 17 European countries gathers in Porto for a Summer Course on Urban Planning, starting on 23 July.This is the 22nd edition of "How I Met Your City", a summer course organised by BEST Porto (Board of European Students of Technology). It is worth mentioning that Porto is the third most sought after city in the most wanted city list in Europe.
