International Day for Monuments and Sites is celebrated on 18 April, and highlights diversity of heritage throughout the world. In 2019, the theme is "Heritage & Rural Landscape". This day offers the opportunity to discover Porto's cultural heritage.

The brand Porto. and the success of Porto were highlighted in Muscat, the capital city of Oman, on the southeastern coast of the Arabian Peninsula in Western Asia. Mayor Rui Moreira explained why the city is so recognisable worldwide and how the brand has evolved.

Sawubona is often translated as "hello", but it also means "I see you", which has a more profound and significant meaning.
