Town's Public Cabinet (re)opens face-to-face service starting today, 11th May and with prior appointment

The Townsman Office resumes face-to-face service upon prior appointment, starting on 11th May. This may happen only when the request for that service is duly reasoned and when distance service is not possible (by phone or online), as the Townsman Office is working on a teleworking regime, since 16th March and online customer service is the best means to contact the Townsman Office.

Conditioned traffic in Porto Atlantic Avenues on weekends

The Municipality of Porto will make access by car to Atlantic boulevards Montevideu, Brasil, Dom Carlos I and Rua do Coronel Raúl Peres conditional. This measure will be implemented starting tomorrow, 9th May, between 2pm and 7pm Saturday, and between 9am and 7pm Sunday.

Three new cases in Porto and the city is slowly but confidently getting off to a flying (re)start

Porto is adapting and functioning as it calmly resets the "new" normal. These past few days, the city of Porto counted three new covid-19 cases and small businesses start reopening will all necessary precautions. In the past 72 hours, there were only 3 reported cases and last week only 35, which makes Porto the city that is getting off to a flying start regarding the current pandemic.

Applications to the Emergency Support Line in Porto run till 8th May

The Emergency Support Line to Associations in Porto, worth 150 thousand euros, is open from 28th April till 8th May. Applications open for Young scientists and young entrepreneurs contest

The 28th National Contest for Young Scientists and the 3rd National Contest for Young Entrepreneurs are open till 5th June. Both initiatives are aimed at boosting the emergence of new talents in the fields of science, technology, research and innovation and also foster the entrepreneurship spirit in youth. Winning projects will be granted over 5 thousand euros.

More supplies donated by entrepreneurs to Covid-19 fight in Porto

6.750 protective suits, 11.700 masks, several ICU monitors, thermometers, one ventilator and ventilators consumables were donated by Chinese businesspeople to Porto. The protective suits and masks were delivered in the Field Hospital, set up at Super Bock Arena - Pavilhão Rosa Mota, and the other supplies were sent to Hospital de São João, by Porto City Hall.

Paid car parks and municipal car parks reopening in Porto

Porto City Hall will reopen paid car parks above the ground and municipal car parks next Monday, 11th May. This action will be phased and there is a defined timetable already in place.
