Porto Municipal Gallery programme of events and activities: cultural horizons

Six group exhibitions, another six individual exhibitions and other two exhibits on display in the scope of the Anuário programme are the highlights for the 18 months new cultural season announced by Mayor of Porto and in-charge of the Culture Department, Rui Moreira and the Artistic Director of the Municipal Gallery and in charge of the Contemporary Art and Cinema Department at Ágora Municipal Company, Guilherme Blanc. The new cultural season extends till August 2021.

General Assembly of the United Nations convenes in Porto from 20th to 22nd February

The 13th edition of the OPOMUN- Oporto Model United Nations is held at the Invicta, from 20th to 22nd February. Circa 245 youth from 25 countries take part in this relevant event that debates Human Rights, Security Council, Economic and Social Council, International Court of Justice and Special Conference.

The world's best names in design, business and creativity head to Porto this October

Tickets for Semi Permanent Porto, themed RESTLESS, the first to be held in Europe, are already available as the names of renowned speakers that will be part of this creative event start to be officially announced: Scott Dadich, founder of Godfrey Dadich Partners, director of Netflix's Abstract: The Art of Design and former WIRED editor-in-chief, Rosario Costa, Senior Designer at Lego Group and José Avillez, Michelin-starred chef are some of the invited speakers to Semi Permanent at the Invicta.

Vueling flies from Porto to Tenerife as of June 2020

Vueling Airliner will launch a new operation this June, to link Porto and Tenerife (Canary Islands). The operation comprises two weekly flights, operated by Airbus 320 aircrafts. Every Tuesday and Saturday, starting 2nd June.

Major pieces of the Portuguese twentieth century artwork on display at the FC Porto Arte
