Circa 200 international students at Porto University gathered on 11 December at the Faculty of Law for an earlier Christmas supper filled with joy and peppered with sharing, in which the main attraction was the tasting of traditional festive cuisine from more than 25 different countries.

"Anda" app, of the TIP - Porto Intermodal Transports, was granted the award "Best Customer Practice", during the 7th edition of Calypso Awards. This initiative annually rewards entities that have contributed for the promotion and development of public transport innovative solutions.

The spin-off companies Smartex and Addvolt, incubated at the Science and Technology Park of the University of Porto- UPTEC, are shortlisted for the European Council of Innovation funding, with the total investment amounting up to Euro 278 million.

The Institute of Astrophysics and Space Sciences (IA), and DEIMOS Engineering participate in the CHEOPS project, in the scope of the Portuguese leadership of the project, which is run by 11 European countries and lead by Switzerland and the ESA.

The exhibit themed 'Cintilações', [Scintillation] will take you in a journey through the 20th Century Portuguese Art. The display is on show at the FC Porto Museum. The exhibition will remain in place till 26 January, and it can be visited from Monday to Sunday, between 10am and 7pm.

Vice-Mayor Filipe Araújo was in Bratislava, capital of Slovakia recently during the EU Clean Air Forum to acknowledge Porto's commitment towards a "Country with Clean Air". Porto is committed to shaping sustainable long-term urban development and it has laid down a strategy to making the city inclusive, safe, resilient, and sustainable for all.

Companhia Erva Daninha features "Vão", jointly presented with Teatro Nacional São João under the Bolsa de Apoio à Criação 5 Sentidos, at Theatre Carlos Alberto, on 20, 21 and 22 December.
