Porto mitigates climate change and champions the Municipality's sustainability

Thinking globally and acting locally, Porto has reduced its greenhouse gas emissions by 30,5 % between 2004 and 2017, according to the AdEPorto - Porto Energy Agency. This result is achieved largely due to emissions reductions in buildings and the electricity usage patterns, with renewable energy in place.

ERC awards U. Porto top researcher with a 2 million euro Consolidator Grant
