President of the Portuguese Republic praises homelessness approach by the city of Porto

The meeting of the National Strategy Group Work for the Integration of the Homeless, an initiative by the Presidency of the Republic, and the competent officials in the municipality of Porto was held in the city of Porto, at the former Joaquim Urbano Hospital, currently an emergency reception centre, on 2 May.

Rivoli features "Ensaio para uma cartografia" by Mónica Calle, on 3 and 4 May, in the context of the Festival DDD - Dias da Dança. "Ensaio para uma cartografia" refers to a performance based on orchestra rehearsals by great conductors and to the aesthetic dance movements of classical ballet, featuring a group of actresses dancing on stage.

Jazz it up at Casa da Música with Spring On Jazz Festival

This is the seventh edition of Spring On - Rito da Primavera, a Jazz Festival held at Casa da Música from 3 to 6 May, boasting names in jazz today such as trio B-Mesmo, featuring bassist Walter Areia and Elena La Conte (flute and voice) and Kristina Van de Sand (violin and voice), Paisiel (a project by drummer, percussionist and audio sculptor João Pais Filipe and saxophonist Julius Gabriel), Honest John Quintet, septet Heartbreakers, Enrico Zanisi and Roque.
