Europe recognises the merit of Porto in the health cluster and grants one million community funds to the Engineering Faculty

A work group of the Engineering Faculty of the University of Porto (FEUP) was granted one million community funds to develop new medicines to inhibit antibiotic resistant bacteria. Academic tradition at Avenida dos Aliados with students' parade

This afternoon there will be students strolling on the roads of Porto and ultimately at Avenida dos Aliados wearing dark clothes, colourful ribbons and top hats and literally screaming their lungs out. It is the day of the Cortejo Académico in the city Centre of Porto. Barack Obama will discuss climate change in Porto

The kick off happens on July 6th, with the first Climate Change Leadership Conference.
