For centuries, sexual violence in conflict was tacitly accepted as unavoidable, but Dorothée Munyaneza thinks differently. The artist will perform "Unwanted" at Rivoli, on 1 February, at Campo Alegre Theatre, starting at 9 pm.

The opening of the Casa de Cinema Manoel de Oliveira, the long-awaited project within the Foundation, is the main highlight for the 2019 Serralves special programming.

The 39th International Film Festival of Porto, aka Fantas, will be held from 22 February to 2 March, at Rivoli. This is its 39th edition of the city's festival and reveals the "Challenges of Modernity". The film festival features a pre-opening on 19th February with the showing of the restored version of the Indie film "Easy Rider", directed by Dennis Hopper and starred by Peter Fonda and Dennis Hopper.

Pláka Collectives programme- "To School out of School" is back next week with the last session of the "To School Out of School" programme, from 14 to 19 January, at Palacete dos Viscondes de Balsemão and the Palácio dos Correios.

Porto Municipal Theatre hosts a concert to celebrate peace, on 5 January at Rivoli. On stage, the Academia de Música of Costa Cabral, ACE - Escola de Artes, Balleteatro, Bando dos Gambozinos, ESMAE - Escola Superior de Música e Artes do Espetáculo and the Orquestra Juvenil de Bonjóia will celebrate the important value of peace.

The Clérigos architectural complex, comprising the Tower, Museum and Church, has reached a record number of visitors. Around one million and three hundred people, visitors and holyday makers, stopped at this venue in the city of Porto, which has led to record-breaking visits to Clérigos.
