The first edition of the Photo Contest on Porto is focused on promoting the best images of the city of Porto. Submit your applications from 19 March till 19 April. The beauty of photography is that the world is seen through different "lenses", thus the aim of this contest is to depict the uniqueness and the beauty of Porto.

HARMOS 2019 is a Chamber Music Festival that gathers the most renowned artists of some of the most prestigious Music schools in Europe and in the world. Philippe Vergne is the new Director of the Museum of Contemporary Art of Serralves, as announced today by the Administrative Board of the Foundation. With 25 years of experience working on various international institutions, Vergne was the Director of the Museum of Contemporary Art of Los Angeles (MOCA) for the past four years and will take office on April 2019.

Casa da Música helps create movie magic with time travel concert-films. Today, the Argentinian composer, Martin Matalon presents a new soundtrack for the French film "The Golden Age" or "Age of Gold", with a live performance by Drumming percussion group, at Sala Suggia, starting at 7.30 pm.

The Festival Vivarium is scheduled for 28 and 29 March at Maus Hábitos. Confirmed artists include Tim Hecker, who will perform his first solo concert, the thereminist Elizabeth Brown, whose chamber music has been named luminous, dreamlike and hallucinatory, and also Proc Fiskal, Edinburgh-based producer featuring his interpretation of grime.

"Moving with Pina" is a ballad musical created by Cristiana Morganti as a tribute to Pina Bausch. It will be on stage at Teatro Campo Alegre on 22 and 23 March. In this "danced lecture," Cristiana Morganti explores her personal and artistic experiences as a soloist with the Pina Bausch Company.
