The Art of Urban sketching or the bold and spontaneous strokes of Porto

The "family photo" taken at Avenida dos Aliados, in front of the City Hall, on 21st July, marks the end of the International Urban Sketchers 9th Symposium, an event that brought together 800 sketchers of 46 different nationalities, background and age group to Porto. The 10th International Urban Sketchers Symposium will be hosted by Urban Sketchers Netherlands, in Amsterdam.

As of tomorrow, the city of Porto will be one that is bustling with dances and songs, showcasing the tradition and culture of eight countries. This is the International Folklore Festival City of Porto, and for nine days in July, from 21st to 29th July, more than 250 participants will perform in locations such as Trindade Metro Station, Quinta de São Romão, the Social Centre of Sé, the Garden of Arca d'Água or the Gomes Teixeira Square.

World ranking places U.Porto as twelfth best in Food Technology

The University of Porto (U. Porto) is included in the ranking of the 50 best world institutions in the Food Technology area. U. Porto ranks twelfth in the Food Technology programme in the Shanghai Subject Ranking, and ranks 41st at world level in the Chemical Engineering undergraduate programme.
