Portugal Fashion is a leading fashion trade show

The 42nd edition of Portugal Fashion ended this Saturday, on March 24 and it was again a success. The event gathered designers Katty Xiomara, Nuno Baltazar, Luís Onofre and Diogo Miranda, among others, putting forward the trends for the Autumn/Winter season 2018-19. For the first time, Portugal Fashion was held at the "City of Fashion", a space specifically created at the City Park of Porto.

The President of the French corporate and investment bank, Natixis, Laurent Mignon, declared to Portuguese weekly publication Expresso that he couldn't be happier with the relocation of part of its group to Porto, where they have found talent, highly skilled and dedicated professionals, graduated by Universities and Institutes greatly qualified in Science and technology, and able to speak a lot of languages, which Natixis couldn't find in France.

Spring concert in Coliseu Porto features Lisbon Metropolitan Orchestra and the Choir of the Faculty of Arts of Porto University

Lisbon Metropolitan Orchestra and the Choir of the Faculty of Arts of Porto University will play a concert together to celebrate spring, on April 21 at 9.30 pm. The concert will present the Piano Concerto No.21 in C major, K.467 by Mozart and "A Symphony to Dante's Divine Comedy, S.109, or simply the "Dante Symphony", a program symphony composed by Franz Liszt.

Open House 2018 registration of volunteers

The 4th edition of the Open House will run from June 30 to July 1. The registration of volunteers are now open till April 13. Around 250 volunteers will be needed to help organise this great event. The Open House provides a journey of discovery for visitors regarding the collective cultural heritage of the three municipalities that are part of the Atlantic Front: Porto, Gaia and Matosinhos.
