One could say there is a sort of Urban Art display at Bolhão Temporary Market, with the construction site sidings covered with creative urban art. This is part of the project to come up with wall designs created by artists, who have accepted Porto City Hall's challenge to express their own feelings about the city through their works.

Niño de Elche features its newest work, the álbum "Colombiana", at Rivoli Café, on 27 September, at 11pm. Entrance free.

Porto Book fair is officially open. The sunny weather is also "visiting" Porto, so it is fair to say that the Gardens of Palácio de Cristal are the place to be for the coming days. Entrance is free.

Os Azeitonas will take to the stage at Coliseu Porto Ageas on 12 October and now their inspiration is black and white novels from the 1930's and the 1940's Hollywood golden era.

From 6 to 22 September, the University of Porto is back to Porto Book Fair with its own pavilion, and featuring over 200 publishing titles, at bargain prices.

Turkish Airlines marks its 5th anniversary in Porto and announces an increase in flight frequencies for the winter flight plan. Turkish Airlines is the sole air carrier to operate direct flights between Porto-Istanbul and it had already announced an increase in flight frequencies from five to seven weekly flights between those two cities, as of the IATA winter Schedule 2019.

If you are into books, Porto Book fair is the highlight of the year. Find out what to expect from 6 till 22 September at the Gardens of Palácio de Cristal. This year, Porto Book Fair will honour essayist Eduardo Lourenço, and Nuno Artur Silva is the Fair's Commissioner.

The inspirational "Concertos na Avenida" are back to Porto in Aliados on 6 and 7 September, scheduled for 10 pm. The concerts will be delivered by the Casa da Música Baroque Orchestra, starting at 10pm. Entrance is free.

Rivoli (Sala de Ensaios) hosts the Workshop "La fiesta" by Israel Galván on 27 September, at 11am. Participation costs 2, 50 euros or it can be free, on production of tickets for the show "La fiesta", on 27 September, at 9pm, at Rivoli.
