Starting on 31 March, the French Flagship Airliner will strengthen its operation in Porto, two years after the successful launch of the connection Porto - Charles de Gaulle, the main French airport and one of the two most important European hubs, connecting to the whole world.

Porto is not only a smart city but it is also an environmentally conscious city, taking ownership for the city's impact on the environment by reducing pollution. One of such examples is the intermunicipal project of the Rio Tinto River Clean-up project, led by Porto Municipal Company Águas do Porto, in the context of the global urban planning of Porto district.

The Ballet of the Ópera de Lyon debuts the contemporary dance choreographies, Dance + Set and Reset/Reset, at the Grand Auditorium of Rivoli, from 16 to 17 February, at 7 pm and 5 pm, respectively.

The Wine Show, the documentary that celebrates all things wine, will head to Portugal as their next third season HQ and let you in Portugal's most stunning wine country, the Douro. The project was officially announced during the prize-giving ceremony of the Revista dos Vinhos, which was held on 1 February at Porto Customs Building.

European Commissioner Carlos Moedas and George Gaskell deliver a conference on "The technological Utopia - Innovation in the service of Humanity", at the Serralves Foundation, on 6 February, starting at 9.30 pm.

Porto City Hall promotes free canine socialisation and education to pets adopted from the Municipal Dog Kennel. This measure is part of the Municipal Well-being and Control Plan of Dog and Cat Shelters, which calls for greater efforts to supporting and promoting the responsible adoption of rescued pets. Already in 2015, the Municipal Dog Kennel had introduced free pets sterilisation.

The exhibit "Human Body- Science of Life" is in Porto Customs Building, from 1 February to 31 July 2019, to enable a journey through the human body and discover the magic and mysteries that lie underneath the skin.

Miguel Ramalho, student of the Faculty of Engineering of the University of Porto (FEUP) and researcher at LIAAD - INESC Porto LA (Laboratory of Artificial Intelligence and Decision Support) took the IBM Q Teach Me Quantum Challenge and won the fourth IBM Q Award, which offered one first place prize of $7,000, around 6,000 euros.

There is a river flowing below our feet in the city of Porto that goes unnoticed. For centuries, this water source has enabled the water supply of fountains and waterworks. The museualization of this archaeological site in Porto is underway. When the museum comes on stream, just go with the flow.
