In the city centre of Porto, the old Bolhão Market will come to life in two years' time. Meanwhile, across the street, the two-hundred steps journey will take you to the same hustle and bustle at La Vie Shopping Centre.

The Latin American filmmaker Lucrecia Martel gives an exclusive masterclass at the School of Arts, in the Católica University on 2nd May. The entrance is free and it is scheduled for 4 pm.

The Photo Ark Exhibition will remain on display at the Biodiversity Gallery - Live Science Centre until 29 July, as agreed by The National Geographic and the University of Porto due to the strong interest by the general public.

The European University Information Systems Association (EUNIS) Rectors' conference 2018 will take place at the Rectory of the University of Porto, on 26th April. The EUNIS is the Association of Information Technology Services in European Higher Education and Research institutions, established in 1993 with the fundamental goal of encouraging cooperation between higher education institutions and other organisations and industry suppliers.

The municipality of Porto attended two European conferences, held in Bilbao and in Milan and shared the town policies on innovation and entrepreneurship support, the attraction of private investment and the development of multisector strategies regarding economy.

The national première of the new routine by choreographer Ligia Lewis takes place at Porto Municipal Theatre - Campo Alegre, on 29 April, at 5 pm. "Minor matter", which was awarded the "Bessie Award" (2017) for excellence in production, features the part of a triptych (blue, red, white) for three dancers by the Dominican-American choreographer and dancer Ligia Lewis. The red colour embodies feelings of love and anger.

The Porto Extreme XL is one of the most thrilling Enduro races and this year's edition brings together the best riders from 22 different nationalities, on May 12. This calendar race in the city of Porto has already 240 registered riders and the key moment will kick off at Ribeira do Porto.
