Porto is part of the ENERPAT, a European project aimed at finding sustainable and energy efficient solutions to rehabilitate the built heritage, especially in city historic centres. The Casa do Infante hosts on March 22 and 23 the first symposium devoted to this topic. The event is organised by Sites et Citès Remarquables de France.

During the informal reception to the QSP Summit speakers at Casa do Roseiral, offered by the Mayor of Porto, Rui Moreira, Daniel Goleman shared some of his life orientations and passions in an informal interview with Porto., in which Goleman shared his work and projects.

Casa do Infante hosts the international symposium on environmental sustainability in the context of urban rehabilitation, on March 22.

The submission of applications for the second edition of Porto Design Accelerator is running till the end of March. The purpose is to find great projects in the fields of New Products for Urban Infra-structure, Furniture, Fashion, Metal, Production Technologies, Moulds, Automotive, Aerospatiale, Cork, Ceramics, Traditional Materials and New Emerging Products.

The Procession of the Endoenças or Maundy Thursday is the Christian holy day falling on the Thursday before Easter. This ancient procession will take place at Porto Historic Centre, on March 28, starting at 9 pm. It should last for about 2 hours, departing from the São Domingos Plaza and ending at Terreiro da Sé.

Esmerine, the Canadian modern chamber music group, founded in 2001 by Bruce Cawdron (drums) and Beckie Foon (cello), will be at the Understage, Rivoli, on 23 March at 11 pm. The band is now a core quintet, with percussionist Jamie Thompson, multi-instrumentalist Brian Sanderson and bassist Jéremi Roy. The band's music incorporates genres such as drone music, post punk, and Turkish folk.

Casa da Música (CdM) marks Easter at Sala Suggia with two concerts; "Ressurrection" by Mahler, features March 20, at 7.30 pm and "Salve Regina" with pieces by Händel and Bach on March 28, at 9 pm.

The 12th edition of Harmos Festival kicks off March 20, with a recital by Accendo Quartet, at Porto City Hall Main Hall. The event is access free and it starts at 7 pm.

The fire-fighter department of Porto stood out at the Rescue Great Day 2018, a rescue operation by means of cords (Large Scale) held in Seville. The team from Porto achieved the general third place and first place in the Fire-fighters category.
