For the fourth consecutive year, public transport will run all night long on Fridays and Saturdays from 9 June until 1 October. Good weather invites to longer outings and so it is mandatory, according to Mayor of Porto, Rui Moreira, to ensure good mobility, safety and comfort in the city.

Portugal Day, officially Dia de Portugal, de Camões e das Comunidades Portuguesas (Day of Portugal, Camões, and the Portuguese Communities), is Portugal's National Day celebrated every year on 10 June.

The exhibition themed "The royal Chart of Porto. 1517-2017. Mark of a King, Image of a City", marks five centuries after the date of the Royal Chart granted to Porto by King D. Manuel I, which bestowed privileges to the citizens of the municipality of Porto, in 20 June 1517.

The second Start & Scale Week event, organized by Porto City Hall concluded with a networking session, music and sheer celebration spirit.
