123 terraces in Porto have been granted licenses to expand areas. Expansion rate at 60%.

It is a week now that Porto City Hall launched the special regime for outdoor terraces and patios to apply for area expansion; so far, 123 terraces were granted permission and the expansion is at a 60% rate.

Guindais Funicular was desinfected today and reopens on 18th May

The Guindais Funicular was decontaminated today so as to safely reopen to the public, starting on Monday, 18th May. The decontamination was carried out by the Firefighter Brigade of Porto (BSB), and it comprised both funicular booths and the two funicular stations, located at Gustavo Eiffel Avenue and Batalha.

Porto City Hall, in partnership with i3S- Health Research and Innovation Institute, through Ipatimup Diagnosis, carries out serological testing to assess the presence of antibodies to the SARS-CoV-2 in over 1500 municipal workers fighting the current pandemic.

Gustavo Eiffel and Paiva Couceiro Avenues feature conditioned traffic over the weekend, starting tomorrow, 16th May. Traffic will be conditioned between 2pm and 7pm Saturday and 9am and 7pm Sunday. This traffic constraint also applies to Luis I Bridge and Freixo.

Animal Assembly Centre is open to the public upon prior appointment

The newly established Animal Assembly Centre, located in the parish of Campanhã, opens doors to the public for the first time, this week. However, due to the current public health crisis, there are preventive measures to be taken to animal visits at the centre, namely prior appointments and the mandatory use of a face mask. Also, social distancing rules must be observed.
