San Telmo is celebrated in Massarelos on 14 April

The traditional celebrations of San Telmo take place in Massarelos, on 14 April, organised by the Brotherhood of the "Almas do Corpo Santo de Massarelos e dos Mareantes", to honour sailors and the people of this district. The programme is scheduled to start at 4.30 pm with a procession overland and by river, to honour the men lost at sea and for the blessing of vessels.

The outstanding life and work of Maria Callas on screen at Rivoli on April 17

The Grand Auditorium of Rivoli recalls the most famous opera singer ever, Maria Callas, forty years after her death, with the screening of two films on 17 April. The film Medea by Pier Paolo Pasoliniat 6.30 pm and the documentary film by Tom Volf, "Maria By Callas", at 10 pm.
