Porto City Race Pedestrian orienteering competition is scheduled for April

Registrations are now open for the 7th edition of Porto City Race, a pedestrian orienteering competition scheduled for 21 and 22 April, and the starting signal will be at 10 am. The first stage of the race will be on April 21, and it will score for Portugal's Cup of Adapted Orienteering.

DDD Festival is coming, that is why we are dancing in the streets

The DDD Festival - Days of the Dance, the largest contemporary dance festival in Portugal will run from April 26 to May 13. The festival extends this year to other cities of the Atlantic Front. Besides Porto it will take place in Gaia and Matosinhos.

The Procession of the Endoenças or Maundy Thursday is the Christian holy day falling on the Thursday before Easter. This ancient procession will take place at Porto Historic Centre, on March 28, starting at 9 pm. It should last for about 2 hours, departing from the São Domingos Plaza and ending at Terreiro da Sé.

Esmerine, the Canadian modern chamber music group, founded in 2001 by Bruce Cawdron (drums) and Beckie Foon (cello), will be at the Understage, Rivoli, on 23 March at 11 pm. The band is now a core quintet, with percussionist Jamie Thompson, multi-instrumentalist Brian Sanderson and bassist Jéremi Roy. The band's music incorporates genres such as drone music, post punk, and Turkish folk.
