Rádio Estação broadcasts “Autrevoix” under the Porto Design Biennale 2021

Porto Design Bienalle 2021, which celebrates France as the guest country, redesigns design, extending it beyond the material components. These concepts are replicated in the programme “Autrevoix”, which is broadcasted daily at the Rádio Estação devoted to contemplate the other. As such, “Autrevoix” is an experimental programme with different French contributions.

National Theatre São João presents KastroKriola, by Caplan Neves

KastroKriola, written by the Cabo Verdean playwright Caplan Neves, is the remake of the work “Castro”, short for “Tragédia muy sentida e Elegante de Dona Inês de Castro”, by António Ferreira, written in 1587. Caplan Neves presents the text in creole from Cabo Verde, and tries to unveil how a classical text will symbolically resonate in today’s Cabo Verde.

Uplifting Campus Paulo Cunha e Silva is inaugurated on the day the former councillor for Culture would celebrate its 59th anniversary

The Porta-Jazz inspiring festival is back in Porto from 23 to 25 July. These will be three-full days aimed at delivering a wellbeing of music festivals to both musicians and audiences. The new meeting point is the Gardens of the Palácio de Cristal, as it was originally planned to take place at the Rivoli Theatre, last February.

The Museum of the Holocaust in Porto offers free visits until the end of June

The Museum of the Holocaust, which inaugurated in Porto last May, with circa 300 daily visitors, offers entrance free until the end of June. This is the first Holocaust Museum in the Iberian Peninsula and its target goal is to keep the memory of the victims of one of the darkest periods in Humankind’s latest history alive.
