Casa da Música hosts a Christmas Concert on 20 December, by Porto Symphonic Orchestra, at Sala Suggia, scheduled to start at 9pm.

The I Biennial of Organs and Sacred Art features a concert, today, at the Church of Cedofeita, at 9.30pm, and one of the highlights is the participation of Notre-Dame organist Olivier Latry.

Visit the Church of São Francisco, in Porto and discover a most impressive gilded woodcarving alterpice. Its altarpieces originated in the Gothic era, and assumed a nationalist character during the 17th century, reaching its height in the reign of King D. João V.

Clubedo jazz revives the jazz circuit in Porto, from 16 to 14 December. This event is organised by the Porta-Jazz Association and it will bring to the Invicta improvisational compositions and programmed sounds, with iconic jazz clubs hosting emerging bands, both national and international.

Exhibitions, visits and conferences are part of the programme of the I Biennial of Organs and Sacred Art, to take place at the Church of Cedofeita, on 12th December, at 9.30pm, with the special participation of Notre Dame organist Olivier Latry. Entrance is free, upon previous collection of the tickets on the day of the event, between 8pm and 9pm.

Clubedo jazz happens in the Invicta from 16 to 14 December. This event is organised by the Porta-Jazz Association. There will be improvisational compositions and programmed sounds, as the outright intention is to revive the jazz circuit in Porto, with iconic jazz clubs hosting emerging bands, both national and international, on a regular basis.

The performance "Ordinary People" has its national premiere on 30th November, at Campo Alegre, starting at 7pm. This show brings together the reputed Check Performative Arts Centre, the Archa Theatre, directed by Jana Svobodová, and the Living Dance Studio, the first independent Chinese company, run by Wen Hui.
