Christian Petzold film retrospective runs at Campo Alegre Municipal Theatre, from 28th November till 4th December. Christian Petzold is a German film director, an elevated figure of the German contemporary cinema.

The "Casa do Cinema Manoel de Oliveira", integrated into the Serralves Foundation area, houses the first exhibition ever to be devoted to French filmmaker Eugène Green, on display from today, 25th November till 6th February 2020, in Porto.

"Rushing Green with Horses" is one of the most extraordinary moments of 2019 Porto/ Post/Doc. The film will be screened on 26 and 27 November, at Rivoli, at 9pm and 2.30pm, respectively.

Clubedo jazz, an event organised by the Porta-Jazz Association, happens in the Invicta from 16 to 14 December. Expect no less than different forms of improvisational compositions and programmed sounds, as the outright intention is to revive the jazz circuit in Porto.

Down-at-heel Oriental area in Porto is becoming revitalised; the bicentennial and recouped Casa São Roque and the renovated gallery A Sede offer cultural attraction regarding contemporary art and art deco. For art's sake, pay them a visit.

Porto Design Biennale (PDB) opened on 19th September 2019 and it runs till 8th December. On 23rd and 24th November and on 7 and 8 December, Laurem Crossetti, Isabeli Santiago, Alicia Medeiros present The (Mis)Guided Tours, in Porto and in Matosinhos.

Starting tomorrow, on 21st November and running till 4th December, the TNSJ devotes a programme cycle to the work by Irish playwright and screen writer Mark O'Rowe, jointly with the Company Assédio.

"LIMBO" by Sara Carinhas, is presented at Rivoli, on 22 and 23 November, at 9pm and 7pm, respectively.

The Serralves Foundation and the Almeida Garrett Municipal Library host the "Cycle Sophia and the Arts - at the Centenary of the Birth of Sophia de Mello Breyner Andresen", from 16 November 2019 until 14 December 2019.

Porto/Post/Doc: Film & Media Festival kicks off on 23rd November and concludes on 1st December. The festival is hosted at Rivoli, Cinema Passos Manuel and Porto Planetarium.
